Tight-asses

You'll hear a lot of moderately wealthy people tell you that the key to becoming rich is to carefully watch your spending. Cut out your morning coffee, they'll tell you. Buy in bulk, they'll tell you. Do more stuff at home, they'll tell you.
And what they tell you is wrong. Well, it's wrong if you want to become obscenely rich. It's right if you're looking for mediocrity.
One of the keys to becoming a millionaire is by doing stuff you LOVE. The more you cut things out that you don't like, and the more you restrict and restrain yourself, and the more you cut corners as much as possible, the less happy and engaged you'll be. And when you're not happy and engaged with life, it's very difficult to find the energy and enthusiasm to put into the hard work that's required to become a multi-millionaire.
My advice is this: of course, spend less than you earn. And scrap your credit cards. But with what's left, feel free to live the lifestyle you desire. The law of attraction means that we get back what we put out. If the message you're sending out to the universe is "I'm a tight-ass", then lack of money is all you're going to get back. But if the message you send out is "I am living the lifestyle of my dreams", then that is what will materialise.
